Description:

CDC?s Procurement and Grants Office has published a request for application announcement entitled, ?Applied Research for Populations Around Hazardous Waste Sites.? $500,000 [this amount is an estimate, and subject to the availability of funds] will be available in fiscal year 2005 to fund approximately one award. The purpose of this program is to fill gaps in knowledge by conducting applied research studies related to human exposure to hazardous substances at hazardous waste sites and adverse health outcomes, including health outcomes as prioritized by ATSDR.
